The St. Louis Plaster Bureau
is an association of professionals that has been serving the plastering needs of
the area’s construction industry for more than five decades. We consider
ourselves to be the custodians of the history of our trade or, “the keepers of
the knowledge.”
The Bureau, with our labor partners, Plasterers’ Local #3, is committed to
providing St. Louis with the finest plasterwork in the United States. Note the
use of the word “partners” to describe our labor/management philosophy. The
Bureau provides the framework under which management, labor and supplier meet on
a regular basis to continue our tradition of mutual respect, trust and harmony.

The total number of plasterers in St. Louis who now have

with new apprentices receiving the training this fall
and a journeyman upgrade training session scheduled for
early winter, the local expects to be well into the 90%
range by January 2007.
